Canadians are about the most generous people around. But please remember that when Paul Martin speaks about a 'Generous Canada', he means two things:
Being generous with tax dollars taken from your pocket
Being generous to the Liberal-party-connected (just remember who was Finance Minister during AdScam, and who called an election before the finger pointing got beyond the first level).
In short, it means nothing to the average Canadian except more of the same.
