People from Spain, Mexico, Central America, Cuba, and most of South America (except for Brazil) speak Spanish as their daily language. And it’s a member of the European family of languages. Spanish therefore shares a lot of basic structure and vocabulary with English. This makes it relatively easy for English speakers to learn it.
